A Report on Brian Gym

The Mathematics club of Mount Carmel College of Teacher Education for Women, “

Ganithika” of the year 2014-2015 conducted programme ‘Brain Gym’ for the teacher trainees of

the college. The inauguration was done by Dr. Susamma George, Principal of Mount Carmel

College.

Brain Gym is a serious of exercise to improve academic performance exercise improve

eye sight, listening skills, hand-eye coordination, whole- body flexibility and by doung this

manipulate the brain, improving learning and recall the information.

All the students of Mathematics class gathered together to teach the exercises. The programme

was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Pushpa Marian, all the teacher trainee joined the

programme with great enthusiasm and energy.
