Introduction (Self):
Start lesson  Introduce yourself. Name and what they can call you for short.
Miss Van – or Miss V for short

Game: Today, we are going to play a little game called “Two truths and a lie”
Explain: I’ll start off, and I will tell you 2 things about myself that are true, and one thing
that’s a lie. You will have to decide what you think could be the lie. Then its your turn!

If we have time after this activity, We can do one more about your favourite animals from
the country you were born
SO  the better we cooperate and more we get involved, more fun activities we will have
time for.

3 things about me:

Truth: I love swimming

Lie: I have a banana tree in my garden EXTRA TIME

What country you were born
Truth: I am really scared of snakes and spiders - Fav animal from that country
- Why/or 1 fact about animal
Answer questions.
Eg.
Now it’s your turn! Lion
Ill give you some time to think. because,
a lion is strong and fierce
Prompts (for struggling students) (fact: only male lions have a mane)
If you’re having trouble thinking about what to say,
think about the sports you like or don’t like,
maybe your favourite or least favourite food,
or even something about your family

Ask one at a time – then two students to answer.
