The 5 Horse Shoes Pub
Walk 1
This walk is the shorter of the 2, this walk takes you
over the beautiful Maidensgrove common and down
through the Warburg nature reserve and into amazing
open rolling countryside towards the end. There is a
steep hill up to the pub, but its worth it for the views
from the pub garden!
Walk 2
This is a harder walk, which can be done in any
direction from the house taking you through the
nature reserve, through open rolling countryside and
past the ruin at Bix Bottom, eventually arriving back at
the 5 Horse Shoes for a well earned lunch.

Directions - Henley // From Ballards Henley office Directions - Central London // From London head
proceed to the traffic lights in the town centre and turn West on the M4 exit at J8/9 and take the A404M
right signposted Oxford A4130. Leave the town towards the M40/High Wycombe. Continue for
centre along The Fairmile and fork right, before the approximately 3 miles and take the exit signposted
commencement of the dual carriageway, signposted Henley on Thames. At the T junction turn left on
to the Assendons and Stonor. Continue through the reaching the roundabout take the second exit towards
Assendons and on entering Stonor take the left hand Henley on Thames. Proceed over Henley Bridge and
turning, before Stonor Park, signposted up to the traffic lights in the town centre and then
Maidensgrove Common. Follow the lane up the hill follow the directions above.
and through the woods and up onto Maidensgrove
Common. Continue over the common and The Views Services // Mains electricity. Private Drainage. LPG
will be found on the right hand side, before reaching Nest Heating
