- An entire Khajiti force in mixed unit tactics was no more than 4 dozen, the
Bosmer units dispatched were only a company in strength. Companies could be from 32
to north of 100 per wikipedia

- Heavy infantry seems to be prized

- Shieldwall formation was used in the Great War by Nordic Legions

- The Art of War Magic suggests that armys be careful to keep both the magical and
mundane in proper accord, this seems to warn against relying to heavily on magic.

- Manual of Armor mentions heavy infantry, heavy cav, pikeman, and foot knights -
this implies a more medieval unit types, likely written in the third era
