Syed ul Istighfar with English Translation

Pray for Repentance

The Prophet (pbuh) said: "If somebody recites syed ul istighfar during the day with firm
faith in it, and dies on the some day before the evening, he will be from the people of
Paradise and somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he
will be from the people of Paradise." (Sahih Bukhari: 6308)
Narrated by Anas bin Malik (ra): Allah's Apostle (pbuh) said, "Allah is more pleased with the
repentance of His slave than anyone of you is pleased with finding his camel which he had
lost in the desert." (Sahih Bukhari: 6311)
