Advantages

 Water are recycled

 Less water consumption
 The system has lesser stage/devices need to cool down a particular substance
 Cheaper

Disadvantages

 Not effective in cooling capacity

 Small changes in the temperature

System B
Advantages

 Effective in cooling the fluids for the reason a portions in the stream is sent through heat
exchanger, and the remainder is bypass
 Controlled valves are present to control the movement of the fluid

Disadvantages

 Longer time it takes for the fluid to cool down

 Water is not recycle
 Complicated system
