Carley began work for our department here in the City of Providence in early 2018 as an inter with our major arts festival, PVDFest. During her time with us, Carley displayed the ability not only learn new skills bbut also a strong desire to ledm about local government and our community here in Providence Carley stayed with our department as a Mayoral Fellow during the summer of 2018, providing cour team with social media content and analytics. Carley was charged with creating and maintaining a new Facebook page for our parks department which has performed incredibly well since inception, In addition to social media, Carley was instrumental in developing our 2019 Strategie Communications Plan and streamlining current content processes for citywide communications. Throughout her tenure, Carley was an incredibly hard worker and dedicated employee, She was ‘an integral part of the communications team and provided us with much needed research and support. She showed initiative and constantly explored news ways that we could communicate the city’s message to our residents.
