In this section of suggestions about improvement of workshop our views are basically based on two

major factors which are “efficient on time delivery of jobs” and “a healthy work environment” .
While focussing on the working efficiency and on time delivery we found that below mentioned
some of points could help.

1.Creating a list of all possible jobs that could arrive in workshop:

This can give a proper view what specific jobs need to be performed and what are the specialized
skill sets reqd. To perform the jobs. This really could help in many ways like technical skills need to
perform any specific job could be acquired beforehand to ensure on time delivery.

2. Providing training to workers about new machines acquired by the company . This could help the
company by timely maintenance of jobs which will reduce the shut down time.

3. Dividing the routine jobs in smaller parts and assigning workers . This will help in developing their
skills with time and this will ensure error free , fast and efficient job maintenance .

4.Rating of workers and creating a biodata : rating can be provided based on efficiency , versatility ,
behaviour , complex thinking capabilities , previous performance , responsible etc.
