Hello Senior Portfolio Committee,

I am writing to you in approval of my senior portfolio. I would very much like to graduate high school so
I can continue my educational career. Even though I’m not totally sure what I want to do in my near
future. I do know that I want to go to a community college and continue educating myself. I love
education and I will always continue to educate myself, and I hope that you will accept my portfolio so I
can continue doing that.

With BCMHS I have learned many things, made many friends, met many nice teachers. These people
have helped and inspired through my years in this school. I have had many struggles during these years
but these hardships have taught me how to persevere and push through hardship. This is a very important
skill to me because without this in my future I would’ve cracked under the slightest pressure but I can
now stand strong. I thank BCMHS for teaching such valuable of a skill. With this skill I can confidently
stand in the doorway of greatness and be ready for the hardships that will tackle me in the future. Not only
have I learned this skill but I have also learned to push through my anxiety and fear of public speaking.
These things were something that greatly controlled me but with the help of BCMHS I can now stand
strong and confident.

In my future I see myself going to community college finishing my general education. After that I would
be ready to pursue the career that I feel would be the best for me. After graduating high school, I will sign
up for solano community college and go to school full time. I will try and finish in 2 years so I can even
further my education. Then I will transfer to a four-year college to do what I want to do. Even if I do
know what I want to do for my future I do know that I will be ready for what is coming.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to prove myself, and I would greatly appreciate your approval
of my portfolio.
