Research about the effect of adherence and information aids on home visits of the behavior of ISPA

patients at Puskesmas Pabuaran Tumpeng Kota Tangerang in the period of July-August 2018 (study of
antibiotics) has been carried out. The purpose of this research is to determine if there are any
differences in behavior (knowledge, attitudes and actions) and adherence on taking medication
(antibiotics) in ISPA patients at Puskesmas Pabuaran Tumpeng Kota Tangerang between ISPA patients
who received adherence and information aids and those who didn't.

This research is a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent control group design. The number of
samples taken in this research is 110 respondents. Based on the paired T-test, the value of pretest and
posttest in treatment group is showing a significant knowledge difference. While the result of paired T-
test is that the value of pretest and posttest is also showing a significant knowledge difference in control
group.

Based on the independent sample test, there are knowledge, attitudes, and actions differences in
treatment group. Based on the independent sample test, there is no difference on pretest value either in
treatment group or control group, but there is a difference on the posttest value in both of those groups.
