During 9/41, before | was a Police Officer, all | could do was get in the van and drive down to Water St with the rest of my co-workers at Outback Steakhouse and just cook for the first responders. These men and women were trying to find anything that resembled a lost loved one of someone they never met. During Sandy, being on the job, | was working that night, and listened to the gut-wrenching screams for help over the radio of my fellow officers as their precinct was swept out to sea Again all | could do was go to work everyday and help as much as | could. Today as a Realtor with Century 21 Boling & Assoc, I've cooked for the National Guard and brought my sons around to teach them about the word community and what it means to come together. | have also made a promise to myself and my community that every commission | eam from now until the end of the year | will donate 25% of it to the relief efforts here in my community.
