I would like to express my interest in the Instructional Designer position at Sephora. I found the
job posting on LinkedIn and was immediately drawn to the position.

I am currently employed as the Director of Product Development and an Instructional Designer

at Beacon Homes. Prior to this position, I worked as an Instructional Systems Designer for the
Federal Aviation Administration as a contractor with Leidos. I believe that the skills and
knowledge I have gained in my career make me a strong candidate for this position.

I have experience in designing and developing training materials for online, face-to-face, and
blending learning environments. I am proficient in the authoring tools Adobe Captivate,
Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia. I have participated in all aspects of the instructional design
process, including analysis and evaluation. I am also proficient in project management skills. I
managed the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of over 30 courses and was responsible for
making sure all change deadlines were met. I have strong verbal and written communication
skills and have experience working alongside SMEs.
