Artifact Reflection
Two elements of the TPE 6 that are relevant to the assignment I chose, which is the
Professional Educator Discussion, is 6.2 and 6.3. While creating this assignment, it was required
to speak on implicit and explicit biases as well personal professional goals. It made me think
back to when I was a young student in grade school. The different point of view that I have
when discussing teaching and how to deal with students shows my gradual growth as a
professional educator. As a student, I did not see the process of educating students like I do now.
In high school, we are selfish kids that do not understand certain concepts behind teaching. We
want the teacher to be lenient and laid back without assigning any work because we find it
boring. During our teenage years, we do not realize that the work that seems excessive is to help

A few recommendations on how I plan to continually improve the elements TPE 6.2 and
6.3 are to stay neutral with all students to stray away from any explicit or implicit biases that
educator will assist with improving educator skills and it will help motivate me to search for
being an Inspired Teacher because it discusses possible ways to express care, support,
acceptance and fairness to the students as well as the parents and colleagues. Being an Inspired
Teacher means that you are motivated, ethical, dedicated and inspired. My assignment reflects
elements two and three of TPE 6. Finally, when I think about inspiring my own students, there
