Dear Mr. Alburger,

I am writing my pride paper on the topic of interior design. Interior design is the process or art of
designing the inside of a room or a building. I chose this topic because I find a particular interest
in interior design. I think that interior design is very fascinating and intriguing. I chose this topic
in hopes to further expand my knowledge about the career of interior design. I hope to learn the
salary, the lifestyle and the thinking of an interior designer.

In my paper, I will discuss the thinking of an interior designer, the salary and the lifestyle. I will
organize these by paragraph, page and section. I will also include things such as the schooling
required to become an interior designer.

I do not yet have a mentor but I hope to be mentored by Alex Poorman from Appalachian State
University in North Carolina. I hope to be mentored by him because he is of easy access and I
have met and introduced myself to him before. He is a very personable man and I hope to be
mentored by him so I can further expand my knowledge on interior design.
