C. THE BASICS OF BUSINESS CORRESPONDENCE.

Business correspondence is a correspondence activities done in the business world,in the


form in the mail, memos, agendas, proposals, and reports on business.
The letter is a means of written communication submitted by one party to another party by
using certain media. One of the things that distinguishes regular mail with a business
letter writing is the goal.
Letter-oriented business activities as well as the style of language used. In the process, one
can write and send mail with a piece of paper or electronic (email).

D. LANGUAGE OF BUSINESS CORRESPONDENCE.

Business correspondence or business correspondence has its own language that is the
language of business correspondence. The characteristics of language
of business correspondence is clear, straightforward and interesting as well as manners.
1. Clear
Clear understanding here is easy to understand and free from the possibility
of misinterpretation. In business correspondence, required accuracy in word choice, the
integrity of a sentence and use of punctuation.
2. Plain
Plain intention is thrifty. Frugal means economical in use, but with the scope of meaning.
3. Pull And Manners
An interesting language doesn't have to be as beautiful as the language used
in poetry. Interesting language here is a living language and manners, avoiding the repetition
of the word ponderous and able to arouse the reader's interest.

E. THE PARTIES WHO ENGAGED IN CORRESPONDENCE.

In General, the parties involved in the activities of the correspondence is:

1) A correspondent, that person or persons or parties who send mail and or signs a letter.
2) Editor, i.e., the person who compiled the manuscript letters.
3) Secretary, i.e. a person who helps a leader in correspondence.
4) Interpreter type, i.e. the people who helped produce the letters.
5) Register, i.e. the person who is doing the activity or administration of letters which include
the granting of registration letter, letter number out dann incoming mail, as well as handle
archiving letters (filing system).
6) Couriers, i.e. the person or party who delivered the letter to the recipient.
