Akhtar Hameed Khan National Centre for Rural Development (AHKNCRD), an Attached Depdrtment of the Establishment Division is responsible for promoting the cause of development in Pakistan through its programmes of training and research. The primary function of the Centre is to organize - training -courses on: various aspects of-rural-and. social development for the: mid-level functionaries of | Federal and Provincial Nation Building Departments (NBDs), including women functionaries, Local Government and Rural Development, NGOs and CBOs entrusted with the task of rural uplift. 2 AHKNCRD plans to organize five days’ Training Course-on “Sustainability Issues in Poverty Reduction and Way Forward” from 10-14 September, 2018.
