Dacayo, to our ever-

supportive barangay captain Jessie Delos Reyes and his council, to our
motherly school principal, Mrs. Glenda B. Salunat, teachers, staff and
students, good morning.
It is that time of the year again when the quadrangle is filled with
cheers as we participate in various contested activities to determine a
winning team. From basketball matches down to athletics, we gather
around the playing area to witness these sports events with great
enthusiasm. We cheer for the teams to signify our support and we burst into
screams for every victory we achieve. There is no doubt that Filipinos are
truly sports-minded.
To fuel our desire for sports and grand celebrations, it is but right to
hold a two-day event dedicated for these matters. Hence, it is my privilege
to welcome you to the annual Intramurals of Uddiawan National High
School. Just like in the previous years, I hope that this Intramurals will be as
fun and exciting as ever. May we observe the value of sportsmanship in
every game. Let us make memories worth remembering through the
tradition of sports. For the players, let us remember that winning is just
secondary to the experience and lessons we get from each match. There
may be winners by score but the true winner knows humility above their
golds.
