Biographical details
My name is Eoghan Mulholland, and I am an associate member of IChemE. Currently, I hold the position of
Postdoctoral Research Fellow having just completed a PhD which focused on the delivery of gene therapy
via biomaterials. I previously held the position of Chair of the postgraduate student forum within the School of
Pharmacy at Queen’s University which allowed me to head meetings and open discussions on problems
students faced as well as achievements. Additionally, I have attended early career events hosted by
IChemE, and I feel the combination of my experiences makes for an excellent candidate for this position.

Election statement

As a postdoctoral research fellow who has worked in industry as well as academia, I believe I am an
excellent candidate to represent early career IChemE members to guide and advise them on the choices
they make now which could shape the rest of their career.
