Sir Sayed Ahmad Khan
Biography:
Sir Sayed Ahmed khan was and Indian philosopher, was born in Delhi 17 Oct 1817. His father
name was Mir Muttaqi. His mother name was Aziz-un-Nisaa and Grand Father Khawaja Farid-
ud-din. Khawaja Farid-ud-din had twice served as Prime Minister of Mogul Emperor and held
trustworthy position under the East India Company. He got his primary education from his
grandfather, the study which are included, Arabic, Holy Quran, and Literature of Persian. After
that he was also excellence in history, mathematics and medical. But he didn’t complete the
medical course. He had also been introduced to some of India’s most able writers and had
developed a love for literature.
Employment
He joined The East India company as Record Keeper (Naib Munshi) in 1840, he was the chief
Assessment Official (Chief Judge in some references). Sir Syed was serving as the chief
assessment officer at the court in Bijnor, in May 10, 1857.

Aligarh movements?
The Aligarh Movement was established by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, the best Muslim educationist
of the nineteenth Century. The Services Which Sir Syed Ahmed khan rendered for the Muslims
are known as the Aligarh Movement in the historical backdrop of Muslims of India. Aligarh
development was gone for informing the British that Muslims are not just in charge of the War
and in this way undue fury ought not be perpetrated to them. To induce the Muslims to get present

The Prophet of Education

Causes of Aligarh Movement and Reasons of Education Concept

After the War of freedom of 1857 the British did not trust on Muslims, as indicated by them
British idea Muslims were just aim of War of Independence. Therefore, they embraced
arrangement of persecution and constraint towards Muslims. Enduring of Muslims Doubled
when Muslims declined to send their Children to Missionary/European and Government Schools
since they abhorred English Language.
