INTRODUCTION
This app called Bacalah or To Read in english is a digital story book in malay
language suitable for children between the ages of 1 and 3 years old.The story
line is constructed by linguists and speech language pathologist so it can be
easily used by parents to read to their children
We are hoping to use this app to build language,literacy and narrative skills in
children with special needs.
PROBLEM STATETMENT
Now almost all countries are more devote on their primary school education, and
more and more parents realize the infant child education is most important for
one person. So the correct education method will directly decide the infant
education success or not. Beside that, for the children who has problem with
speaking and say word this app can helps them to learning,reading and speaking
easily.

in addition, this digital book is the transformation of the meanwhile book form
(traditional) to book digital which make children more interested in learning and
fun. If long form book the child does not know how to read and to be taught by
the parents beforehand. In comparison with this digital book, children are taught
how to pronounce the word correctly and fun.Besides, old books do not help
children who have trouble pronouncing words in reading. Therefore in need
something that can help the child to read with easilyand fun.
OBJECTIVE
a. Create a mobile platform for funning reading, users can selective reading
as their like.
b. Helps the children aged between 1-3 to learn speaking and reading
c. Help the children who has problem with speaking and saying to learn
with sound supported
d. Teach the children pronaunce word correctly and make children more
interested in learning and fun.

The methodology used to develop the BACALAH is Software development
life cycle (SDLC).

a. Planning
This is the first and foremost stage in the development and one of the
most important stages. The basic motive is to plan the total project and to

estimate the merits and demerits of the project. The planning phase
includes the definition of the intended system, development of the project
plan, and parallel management of the plan throughout the proceedings.
b. Analysis
c. Design
Once the analysis is over, the design phase begins. The aim is to create the
architecture of the total system. This is one of the important stages of the
process and serves to be a benchmark stage since the errors performed
until this stage and during this stage can be cleared here.
d. Implementation
e. Testing
The testing phase is one of the final stages of the development process
and this is the phage where the final adjustments are made before
presenting the completely developed software to the end-user.
f. Maintenance
The developers monitor the change in software, any new requirements and any
other improvements modify.

CONCLUSION
Bacalah is a story book application that is suitable for children aged 1 to 3 years
to learn to read, pronounce words correctly, easy and fun.s Beside that,Bacalah
application was also to help children who have trouble saying to keep
lerning.Bacalah application is very pleasant and colourfull. Child taught through
cardboard,cartoon, sound and followed by music in this application. So that with
this application more interest the child to learn and not boring. We expect with
this application can help the children in learning and reading with very
interesting and fun
