I am writing regarding the available writer's position for English Composition I, for the 2018-2019 school
year. I heard about this opportunity through the people in my class. I have much experience with writing
and believe that I would be a good addition to your club.
I have been writing for 12 years now and have greatly improved along the way. I have taken a few
English classes in the past and have done well in them. I successfully completed Sophomore's English
this past year as well. I have had experience with writing up to 10 pages for a class. I can work
independently, silently read, and make revisions and edits. I am also willing to learn the rules of
grammar, punctuation, spelling and MLA format.
