Description of Assessment Task


Project for this semester is “Innovation – Future Bike.” The students should research about
the “bikes” (Motor Bikes or Push Bikes) and develop a concept for a new bike which can be used in
future. (Please note that we are only concerning of the concept, so it will be a concept bike that
will function as a prototype or a model of a new bike which can be used in future).

You can work in groups (maximum 5 students) and deliver a power point presentation of the
project and then submit a research paper on the same. Duration of the presentation is 20
minutes (maximum).
You should work with the two supervisors - the English lecturer and one of the IT
lecturers. The English lecturer should teach them the way to write a research paper and all
the help and support with regard to the language and the writing process. The IT lecturer
should give them relevant assistance and guidance on technical matters and help them with
the research.
