MODULE 1 2019 – REGISTRATION CRITERIA

□ Johannesburg Option – one evening class per week R11 499 incl VAT
□ Correspondence Option – South African Students R12 949 incl VAT
□ Correspondence Option – International Students R17 186 incl VAT

Entry Requirements:
 Mathematics and Physical Science at Grade 12
 As the course will be conducted in English the recommended minimum level of English required for
this course is Grade 10 or equivalent
 Membership to the Society of Cosmetic Chemists
 Access to a laboratory is highly recommended for the second year project

A R1000 deposit is to be submitted with this application form and full payment for the course is to be made
to the Society by 31 December 2018. The deposit will be credited against your registration fees. Fees are
non-refundable should you retract from the course, fail to meet the exam entry criteria or fail the
exams.

If the student is not currently a member of Coschem they are required to become a member.

We reserve the right to convert Johannesburg students to the correspondence option should there be less
than 10 students in the class.

Exam venues are set up in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town as well as other South African outlying

The Diploma Course is not a National Diploma, does not form part of the NQF and neither is it SAQA
accredited.
