Pilot pollution means that too many pilots are recieved at a point.

The number of the pilots that meet the condition CPICH_RSCP>-95dbm is more than 3,
with (CPICH_RSCP[1st] - CPICH_RSCP[4th]) < 5dB

Too many pilots of similar strength in one location causes

Dropped Call can be due to pilot pollution as is causes EcNo to degrade badly

Pilot Pollution can be due to

Lack of dominancy in poor RF condition at the coverage edge (Check current
CPICH and adjust tilt to create dominancy in the area)
Overshooting Cell - (Antenna Physical Tunning)
Verify overshooting cells and downtilt them, if tilting cannot be executed(due to
certain reasons),
consider reduction in CPICH Power

RSCP is better than -100dBm for the best server in active set

The presence of more than 3 cells in the active set and the different 1st AS and
4th AS/MN/DN is <6db
