A forum is ​a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.
For this assignment, you are going to work in groups of five or six to discuss in a forum on a
given issue.

The company Prosper Jaya Sdn. Bhd. is planning to build a big factory to manage the
agricultural products of the four villages : Kg Cempaka (rice product), Kg Simpang (rice), Kg
Tasik (rubber) and Kg Kenanga (coconuts and rubber).
The villagers living here earn quite a small income. As the cost of living increases, it is
now harder to make ends meet especially as the weather is changing and affecting the
agricultural produce.
However, these villages are popular tourist attractions especially to foreigners who love
to learn about village lifestyle. The tourists always mention about the fresh and clean air and the
beautiful sceneries of the villages. Every year, a lot of tourists come and stay at the homestays
owned by the villagers.

The question is : Should we build the factory?

The participants of the forum are:

1) The chairperson
2) CEO, Prosper Jaya Sdn. Bhd
3) Head of Kg Cempaka (as representative of the villages)
4) The Environment Minister
5) The Finance Minister
6) Representative from the NGO @ one of the villagers
