Theme: “Fostering 21st Century Skills and Character-Based Education Campus Journalism”

In the first day, it had an opening program. Staff, participants and coaches were gathered in the gym; they
were oriented on the mechanics, training matrix and gave the journalist’s creed. After was the contest
proper. The coaches assisted the participants in their dealings: providing with their food and other
concerns such as needed materials.

In the last day, the event was news casting and radio broadcasting. The participants were busy making
their script while the coaches prepared the food and distributed them. In the afternoon, the participants
had their actual presentations on their news and radio broadcasting and it was finished late.

Overall, the activity was a successful.
