The paper and plastic has flooded our daily lives in just a few decades, people need paper

products and we need sustainable, environmentally safe production. Plastic has become ever
present in all kinds of objects and materials for its features and low price.

Worldwide, the paper industry is the fifth largest consumer of energy. The paper industry uses
more water to produce a ton of product than any other industry.

Some 8 million tons of plastics end up in the seas and oceans annually, forming 60-80% of marine
litter. The global production of plastics has skyrocketed in the last 50 years.

The production and use of paper and plastic has a number of adverse effects on the environment
which are known collectively pollution.

Recycling as an alternative to the pollution. When we recycle, used materials are converted into
new products, reducing the need to consume natural resources and saves energy.
