I am writing this to express my interest in serving as a new graduate Registered Nurse at WVU
Medicine. I saw this position was posted online on the WVU Medicine website. This position
interests me, as I will be graduation with my Bachelor of Nursing in December 2018.

As my resume shows, I have several years of experience in the healthcare field. I have worked in
different hospital setting caring for different types of patients. Through this experience in
different facilities and settings, I have increased my nursing skills and gained outstanding clinical
knowledge. I am proficient in EPIC documentation. I can effectively and professionally
communicate with all members of the healthcare team as well as the patient and their family.
This final semester, I am conducting my senior preceptorship on the Renal/GI department at
Winchester Medical Center, where I am currently utilizing my knowledge, providing excellent
care, and furthering my knowledge and skills.

Similar to your values, I strive to show the highest level of compassion and excellence when
caring for all patients. It is my goal maintain the highest level of patient satisfaction and exceed
the expectations of the patient and healthcare community. I advocate for the patients that are not
able to advocate for themselves. I am dedicated to caring for the patients and the families of the
patients. I demonstrate effective communication and collaboration. I am always willing to learn
new things and expand my knowledge and skills.
