WHY THIS ACTIVITY SUITS THIS INTELLIGENCE: This is visual because you’re pairing the state to the name of it

while seeing it.

Materials: printed out pictures of ALL states and an outline of the us

Detailed instructions:

1.Pass out papers and 50 states

2.have students place each state where they think it goes.

3.when they are stuck help them put

4. each student should get it

WHY THIS ACTIVITY SUITS THIS INTELLIGENCE: Pictionary fits this because the students have to get up and

work with the whole class

1. One of us will stand up in front of the classroom

2. A student will come up and we will secretly show them a picture of the state
3. They will try to draw the state and the class will try to guess what it is
