METHODOLOGY

It is initiated with research design, data collection method and research sampling.

According to Dessler, t*ining refers to the activities which can provide latest employees

which is fully skill and competentto complete their jobs. Research design is a blueprint for

the collection, measurement and analysis of data, based on the research questions of the

study. Besides that, the design is a master plan that specifies the method and procedure for

collecting and analysing the needed information. A research design provides framework or

plan of action for this research. The design of the study is vital to ensure that the information

collected is appropriate for solving the problem.

For this study, a questionnaire instrument is used for data collection. According to

Sekaran & Bougie (2013), questionnaire is defined as pre-formulated written set of question

to which respondent record their answer. In addition, questionnaire forms which are

distributed to respondents and obtained to get feedback which wi[[ used as primary data for

this stud.v.

Sampling is the selection process of suflicient number of the current elements fiom

population is important to understand the sample's properties or charaeteristics. Moreover, by

doing so, it will help to generalise such properties or characteristics to the population. The

population refers to the entire group of people, events or things of interest that the researcher

wishes to investigate, (Sekaran & Bougie, 2013). Population and sample are two significant

concept which needed to be constructed properly in data collection. In this study, the target

population in this study is the student technician from Class I1 Courses at the Automotive

Branch. The total number of student is 200.
