In what ways did the professional development activities contribute to your successes?
'have gained an understanding of Common Core Standards and instructional strategies by participating in AC
meetings, Common Core Training sessions, and Professional Learning meetings. | have gained an
understanding of classroom and behavior management by participating in the CHAMPS training, a Restorative
Practices training, and by being a member of the school's Climate and Culture Committee. | believe that | have
{grown a lot in this first phase of the school year and | am grateful for all of the support that | have been receiving
from my colleagues and from the schoo! district.
‘What are some next steps?
| would like to continue education with classroom management and Common Core Standards. | would like to be
‘able to prevent misbehavior and fiuently correct behavior when it occurs. With an increased understanding of
Common Core standards, | wll be able to more effectively plan lessons and differentiate them to meet the needs
