ADOPTION.

Good morning miss Natacha, miss Omayra and classmates. My name is Daniela
Díaz and today I am going to talk about adoption.
Fist of all, adoption is a process whereby a person assumes the parenting of another,
usually a child, from that person’s biological or legal parents and doing permanently
transfers all rights and responsibilities, along with filiation, from the biological
parents.
Unlike guardanship or other systems designed for the care of the young, adoption is
a intended to effect apermanent change in status and such requires societal
recognition, either through legal o religious sanction.
Historically some societies have dictated specific laws governing adoption; where
others have tried to achieve adoption through less formal means.
How to adopt: Getting started educating yourself, contacting an agency and
attending an orietation meeting are the first step towards adopting. Although it costs
little to adopt from foster care, the process of becoming an or parent can be time
consuming and requires persistence. On average, it takes from four to twelve months
to complete the steps neessary to adopt, including subitting to an application
indergoing a home study, and attending training.
In my opinion, adopting is a pretty nice process, sincce we are giving the oportunity
to be able to get ahead to a child that has no parents, when I grow up I would like to
be able to adopt, in reality it s one of my life goals.
As a conclusion adoption is a very important process, sine taking care of a child in
order to give him happiness and stability. This a big responsability.
Thanks for you attencion.
