Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are very excited to offer you an opportunity to participate in the Acorn Art
Project. This project helps to raise funds for Midnapore School while allowing you
to share your child’s artwork with others. The money raised from this initiative will
be used to support Midnapore School’s balanced literacy program and, more
specifically, to purchase additional guided reading resources as well as high-
interest reading resources for classroom libraries.

Here is how the Acorn Art Project works: Each child will be bringing home a
beautiful piece of art that has been completed at school. Along with the art, you
will receive an order form offering a variety of items (ie. cards, placemats,
calendars, etc.) that can be purchased printed with your child’s artwork. This is a
great way to share your child’s work of art with others, and at the same time,
benefit our school. Thirty to forty percent of the proceeds from sales will come
back to Midnapore School.

If you are interested in ordering items from the Acorn Art Project, please complete
the attached order form and return it with your child’s artwork by Friday, Nov. 9.
Orders will be filled and returned to the school in time for holiday gift giving. Please
note that your child’s original piece of art will be returned to you when your order is
filled.
