Dear Year 7 Parents, ASSUMPTION COLLEGE With the introduction of Maths Pathway in Term 3, we are excited to inform that we have seen a change to the regular routine of our Year 7 Maths classes with students now learning maths that is right for them. We have shifted our focus towards individual student growth and mastery of concepts across the Mathematics curriculum. Classes will start seeing more lessons delivered to smaller groups of students, while students have also recently completed an extended bridge building challenge to enrich their mathematical knowledge and application. Students have access to Maths Pathway at home and should consistently be working towards completing their recommended modules each fortnight. Parents are encouraged to review their child’s progress regularly by logging in and checking the Parent Portal on Maths Pathway. Please be aware that the College Parent Access Module (PAM) is not linked to Maths Pathway. Students can login to Maths Pathway for access to the Parent Portal or alternatively please contact your child’s Mathematics teacher to obtain a copy of your child’s login details.
