Graphic Organizer Directions

 Using your Big Ideas text book, go to chapter 8 section 4 to complete this graphic
organizer.
 You will be working in groups of four (tables already set up into groups of 4).
 Each student should have their own paper and start at Step 1.
 Each time you are completing a step make sure you write down your name in the box.
 After completing each step, you must switch your paper with your partners clockwise

o Step 1: collaborate with your group and assign one of the four proportionality
theorems to each person in the group.
o Step 2: write the definition of the theorem that is now on your new paper.
o Step 3: draw a representation of the definition.
o Step 4: check work of previous steps and provide evidence of theorem.

 By the end of this activity each person in the group would be familiarized with the 4 theorems
and would have had the chance to do all the different steps.
 Each group will end up with a graphic organizer for each of the four theorems.
