How can you listen to a speaker’s opinions through electronic media without being easily swayed
into accepting their opinions?
Everyone have the freedom and capability on the tip of their fingers to express worldwide
opinion whether it be considered important or unnecessary at all, made easy by the form of
electronic media. An electronic media listener or user will either be influenced by certain
influential people on the internet or have grounds of their own.
For a listener to be able to comprehend a speaker’s opinion without being easily swayed
into accepting it is to have an opinion of themselves. Individually, it is important that we have our
own stand on certain issues that concerns us. Before we listen to what others think, we need to
know that we have a point of view of our own. This is what makes us intelligent beings, despite
receiving different kinds of opinions from every direction, we use the capacity of our brain to
withstand the temptation to simply say “I think so too” just because the beholder of the opinion is
influential in the internet.
Being opinionated does not make you rude, it simply makes you a person with
individuality. Although electronic media is very influential, before you accept another person’s
opinion, you need to have one of your own. It is important to know what we really contemplate
before we consider others.
