MIDDLE SCHOOL WRESTLERS - The Blue Valley Wrestling Club encourages those Middle School youth planning to or have
completed the Middle School wrestling program to join our club at the conclusion of the Middle School. This program is for both
novice and advanced wrestlers and will better prepare those who have interest in participating on a high school level. A positive
wrestling experience will follow your child into his or her high school years. Wrestling builds character, pride and discipline.

PRACTICES: 7:00pm – 8:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the wrestling room at one of the Blue Valley high schools
beginning November 13th. We plan to rotate practice locations on a monthly basis that each BV high school participates in the
practices. We also plan to schedule an additional practice day in January for our advanced wrestlers.

Blue Valley Northwest: November 13, 2018 – December 20, 2018

Blue Valley West: January 1, 2019 – January 31, 2019
Blue Valley High School: February 4, 2019 – March 21, 2019

The season runs through March (pending state competition and advancement)

PROGRAM FEE - Fees are due upon registration: $115 for each participating wrestler. Registration fee covers the cost of
coaching, facility usage, USA Wrestling membership card and insurance.

UNIFORMS - Singlets will be made available for purchase through the club. Novice wrestlers who plan on competing are highly
encouraged to purchase a singlet. Wrestlers will also need to purchase wrestling shoes and wrestling headgear.

COMPETITION - Wrestlers compete in tournaments based on their age and weight. There are novice and advanced level
tournaments depending on the wrestler’s skill and experience. Tournaments are usually on Saturdays and some Sundays during the
months of December, January, February and March. The tournament host wrestling clubs charge an entry fee for the weekend
tournaments.
