PATIENT’S RIGHT & OBLIGATION

1. PETIENT’S RIGHT
Patients right based on the law chapter 32 no.44 2009 about hospital rule :
1. Getting information about hospital rule and regulation
2. Getting information about patient’s right and obligation
3. Getting humanity, fairness and honest services without any discrimination
4. Getting a high level of quality health services with the profession and operational
procedure standardization
5. Getting effective and efficient services to avoid patient’s physical and material lose
Proposing the accuration about quality services
6. Choosing doctors and nursing level according to patient’s necessity and hospital
regulation
7. Consulting the disease to another doctors that have a practical license (SIP) from
inside or outside of the hospital
8. Getting privacy about the patient’s disease including their medical data
9. Getting information about diagnosis and medical nursing procedure, medical nursing
goal, alternative nursing, risk and complication occurred, and the prognosis for the
action done including the cost probability
10. Giving agreement and rejection about the paramedic action for the patient’s disease
11. Accompanied by family in a critical condition
12. Doing a worship on their own faith as far as it doesn’t disturb another patient
13. Getting self saving during some nursing in the hospital
14. Suggesting some reparation about hospital services to them
15. Rejecting spiritual guidance services that unsuitable with their faith
16. Protesting and / or even claiming to the hospital if it is suspected giving
unstandardized services by criminal or civil law
17. Complaining the hospital unstandardized services by news or electronic media
according
18. Complaining about hospital services that are not in accordance with service standards
through print and electronic media in accordance with the provisions of the legislation

2. OBLIGATION
a. Patient and his / her family must obey the hospital rule
b. Patient must obey the doctor and paramedic instruction during nursing
c. Patient must give complete information about the disease contracted honestly
d. Patient and his / her backer has a responsibility to pay for the hospital / doctor cost
and services
e. Patient and his / her backer have a responsibility to fulfil the agreement they have
made
