Step 2: Receive Pre-Approval Allsubmitted applications wil be notified by November 15 ifthey are pre-approved to receive a $500 'mini-grant. Awards will be made pending the submission of your recap ofthe event. Please see Eligibility, Selection, and Priority bolow for guidelines regarding how grantees willbe selected. Checks will be issued to your library. Should more than 200 elisibe libraries apply, priority willbe given to pragrams that anticipate reaching larger percentages oftheir service area (based on estimated number of participants in Hour of Code. activity and youth served in 2017}. Bonus Round: Additional $500 for Select Libraries! Allrecap submissions will be reviewed by a cross-division taskforce for “promising practices” that include ‘themes represented in the Ready to Code Facilitation Pathway, resch, and awareness building.
