Introducing Central Conservatory of Music

The Central Conservatory of Music is the prestige musical college in China. The history of the conservatory
can be traced back to 1940, the establishment of the National College of Music. The college then merged
with several music educational institutions in 1949 after the establishment of PRC.

During its over 70 years of development. The CCOM has been listed among the national leading universities
supported by the ‘Project 211’. It is an comprehensive art academy with various department, including
Composition, Musicology, Conducting, Piano, Orchestral Instruments, Traditional Instruments and Voice
