Written Summary of the Previous Assessment Plan

In the entry level assessment, I will ask simple questions to my students to gather
information about their knowledge on the topic. Depending on how much they know I will plan
my strategies to teach them the topic. For the formative phase I will assign my students four
different tools to help them acquire the concepts, ideas or new vocabulary of the unit. The
quizzes will help them to practice and remember some concepts. The flashcards will help them to
learn the new words. The survey will help them to explore how much they have learned. The
graphic organizer will show them how to organize and summarize each festivity. In the
summative assessment the students will show their knowledge writing a short essay to
demonstrate how much they learned about the topic. The presentation will demonstrate how well
they learned each festivity and which differences are between the way the celebration is
celebrated in the different countries.
