To whom it may concern:

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Alyssa Abler for a position at your facility. She is kind,
patient, hard-working, forward-thinking, and a fast learner. In her time with me as a preceptee in
her last semester of nursing school, Alyssa demonstrated the qualities I expect to see in an
exceptional and experienced nurse. She deftly adapted to the complex policies and busy
workflow of the Mother/Baby unit I work on, while maintaining her cool and confident manner
and demonstrating exceptional care to each of her patients.

I am a nurse at TMC, where we deliver over 400 babies per month. We are the highest risk L&D
unit and NICU in Tucson, and therefore see a large number of high-risk patients, both clinically
and socially. Alyssa easily adjusted to our fast-paced days, keeping pace with the high volume
of admissions and discharges that happen around our day-to-day tasks. Throughout these busy
days, she was able to build relationships with patients that were meaningful and memorable for
each new mother.

Alyssa’s positive attitude, excellent time management skills, and ability to adapt to new
situations and environments would make her an excellent addition to any facility. She is
intelligent and devotes herself fully to her work and will be someone to watch as she matures
into a skilled nurse.

Sincerely,

Ashley Henderson, RN, CLE
