● Objective:
Students will be able to experiment on how magnets can be involved with
pushing and pulling. After reading “ Newton and Me” and have completed their
force and motion worksheet
● Relevancy: We are learning to learn in how to the 2 types of forces
can be used. Also in how the speed may slow down or speed up when
using magnets
● Questions: Before the book
1. What is pushing and pulling?
2. And our 2 types of speed are….?(slow and fast)
● Questions: Middle of the book
1. Who is newton in the book?
2. What kind of force is used between the dad and his son?
● Questions: In the End of the book
1. What are 2 forces of motion again?
● Instructions for activity:
1. Read “ Newton and me”
2. Students will observe on how the 2 forces of motion can be used
on a car
3. Students will first pull on the car but not get to touch it and
pushing on it with magnets but still not get to touch it
4. Finish Force and motion worksheet
● Conclusions:
1. Can someone please tell me when we are pulling and pushing
what was our speed? (fast or slow)
2. Please raising your hands if you thought that pulling was easier
and touch your nose if you disagree?
