To whom it may concern,

It is indeed a pleasure to write this letter to sing the praises of Jason Morales. I’ve known Jason
for about 3.5 years as a student in my Integrated Coordinated Science and Anatomy &
Physiology classes. In that time I’ve found him to be an outstanding and extremely focused
student, as well as being one of the most honest and forthright people I know. Jason’s success
can be attributed to his strong work ethic and tenacity. In addition to his academic success, Jason
is very involved in quite a few extracurricular activities. He is a member of HOSA (Health
Occupations Student Association), and the Academic Decathlon. He’s an exceptional soccer
player, who also excels in track and field, and he’s CPR certified. Jason is also very involved in
his community; he helped coordinate and participated in his 9th grade class’ community works
project, where they helped to feed the homeless. Jason has served in a voluntary capacity in
almost all of the charity events initiated on campus, including the Foshay 5K, the Red Cross
Blood Drive, and the AIDS walk. Jason also donates his time and energy to assist the elderly at
Expo Parks and Recreation. The above listed qualities are enough evidence to show how much of
a hard worker and how motivated he is.

Clearly Jason has displayed the kind of drive and energy needed to be an effective student if not
citizen. He will make an excellent addition to your student population. I applaud you for
considering him, and I thank you for this opportunity to praise him.

Sincerely,

Craig D. Gross
