Narrated Abu Huraira:
One day while the Prophet was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel came and asked,
"What is faith?" Allah's Apostle replied, 'Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His
Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection."

Then he further asked, "What is Islam?" Allah's Apostle replied, "To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer
prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan."

Then he further asked, "What is Ihsan (perfection)?" Allah's Apostle replied, "To worship Allah as if you see
Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you..."

The difference between prophets and messengers are that messengers came down with a book and with a
message to share with the world. They were sent as a guidance to man-kind. Whereas prophets came down to
show them what and how to do things and to warn and invite people to their religion. Also messengers have
been set a command to do from Allah (SWT) which they must commit to doing. While prophets are given a
message which they aren’t commanded to convey it.

The Ulul Azmi Prophets are Nuh (A.S) Ibrahim (A.S) Issa (A.S) Musa (A.S) and Muhommed (S.A.W). Their
common characteristics are perseverance it is common between them because they all had people hating
them, denying them and rejecting them but they kept on going and kept spreading their message and their
belief. Another characteristic is that they were all given supernatural abilities and all given miracles. Nuh (A.S)
was given long life, Ibrahim (A.S) was saved from a burning fire with the help of Allah (S.W.T), Issa (A.S) was
able to bring people back from the dead, Musa (A.S) split the red sea and Muhommed (S.A.W) had all of those
and even more.

Musa had nine miracles and the first one was when all the magicians made snake illusion and then Musa (A.S)
threw his staff on the ground and a massive snake appeared and then when he picked it back up again it
turned back into his staff and the magicians all became Muslim. The second miracle was when Musa (A.S)
raised his hand and light shined from it like a beacon of light it happened when he put his hand into his robe.
The third miracle was when there was a whole year drought as punishment from Allah (S.W.T) also in that
same year the Egyptians suffered of famine of food. The fourth miracle was when there was a massive flood in
the nile river and it stayed like that it stopped by Musa (A.S) making dua to Allah (S.W.T) for him to stop the
flood. The fifth miracle was when there was a human and animal pandemic. All the animals got sick and a lot of
human also got sick and again it was stopped when Musa (A.S) made dua for Allah (S.W.T) to stop it. The sixth
miracle was when locusts fell from the sky across all of Egypt the land was filled with locusts everywhere and
once again it was stopped by the dua of Musa (A.S). The seventh miracle was when there was an outbreak of
lice all across Egypt and was infecting everyone The pharaoh asked Musa (A.S) to ask his god to get rid of the
lice and once again that is what he did. The eighth miracle was when not locusts not lice but an outbreak of
frogs infected Egypt and it was removed the same way that the rest were removed by dua from Musa (A.S).
The last but not least miracle was when all the water in Egypt became blood for a year and was once again
removed from a dua of Musa (A.S).

Musa (A.S) is the most mentioned prophet because we can relate to the most also so that we can see all the
hardship Musa (A.S) went threw for example Bani Israel.
