We, civil engineering students, are currently enrolled in NCE 529 CE Project 2. In
line with this, we would like to request for borrowing some of the equipment/materials in
CE Tool Room for us to perform experiments for our study about using plastic as soil
stabilizer. The following are the laboratory experiments that will be conducted:

 Free Swell Index Test

 Sieve Analysis
 Liquid Limit Test
 Plastic Limit Test
 Compaction Test
 CBR Test

Rest assured that no classes in NCE 412 Geotechnical Engineering 1 and NCE
414 Construction Materials and Testing will be disturbed during the experiments.
