PREFACE
This data book is designed to provide a range of technical information relevant to
natural gas and its application in industey and commerce. |
Industries using natural gas report considerable benefits owing to the following
attributes of the indigenous fuel:
7 Uniform in quality, produces consistent temperatures and is
\> {deal for auromatie operations.
No capital is tied up in purchased fuel or in the space required
to store it,
No hazard of fel spills
MIs non-toxic before and after combustion, (with properly
‘maintained equipment)
The absence of soot in combustion reduces maintenance costs
and extends equipment life
7k W_Ieisa low cost form of energy, not only in fuel but in associated
? savings
|> Reliable in supply regardless of adverse weather conditions
‘ Australia is fortunate in shaing with other advanced indalifial nations thé most
a dependable, efficient, clean, controllable and economic fuel yet discovered.
