The bar graph shows four different airlines net profit (after taxes) from 2010
to 2015. In general, there seems to be significant differences between the airlines’
net profit. However, the company is expected to improve its profit y 2015. SIA, on the other hand, recorded a very stable and high growth from around USD 200 mil. in 2010 to about USD 500 mil. in 2013, and this growth is predicted to continue to around USD 700 mil. in 2015. A similar trend is seen for Thai Airways, but the figure recorded was much lower compared to SIA’s. Their net profit was between USD 300 mil. and USD 400 mil. (2010 – 2013) with a slight dip at USD 200 mil. in 2011, but, like SIA, it is expected to grow to USD 500 mil. by 2015. As for Garuda Indonesia, the profit earned doubled from USD 200 mil. to USD 400 mil. (2010 – 2012). However, the figure dropped to USD 300 mil. in 2013 and this decline is predicted to continue to 2015 where the earning is predicted to bee about USD 200 mil. All in all, SIA and Thai Airways seem to have positive earnings while the other two airlines’ earnings are rather unstable.
