YOU MUST HAVE

· Possess at least a Professional Degree in Mechanical / Petroleum / Oil / Gas or equivalent.

· 2 years working experience in Oil/Gas industry or equivalent field.

· Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels.

· Must be able to work as a team.

· Strong knowledge in technical data and documentation, such as drawings, technical


manuals / specification and industrial code and standard would be an added advantage.

Expected Level of Proficiency

 A Bachelor of Engineering or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 Preferably 2 - 10 years of practical experience in the upstream / petrochemical / chemical /


refinery or a similar industry.
 Experience with Persimmons model, HTRI or heat exchanger design and analysis will be an
added advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

 Prepare the equipment and piping list , identify the equipment and piping materials required .

 Review contractor submittal for equipment - pumps, vessels and other machinery and
generate vendor inquiry data sheet.

 Prepare Technical Bid Evaluation for the mechanical package i.e. HVAC, Exhaust system
,fire system

 Review the Bill of quantities and generate procurement specification for mechanical package

 Understand the Plant safety requirements and use the guidelines for safety during
construction and commissioning works.

 Plan and Organize day to day permit to work for site construction works .

 Able to prepare construction sequence & plan , mobilize resources accordingly

 Support commercial team on the change order i.e. evaluate the scope /pricing

 Support the construction team during execution stage.

 Support Quality assurance in the areas of equipment and piping erection ,Hydrotest , welding
QC requirement and documentation.

 Organize and supervise the commissioning activities.

 Attend project meetings as required by Project Manager

 Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial , Mechanical, Mechanical) or related field

 3-5 years’ experience in construction. Diploma holder with higher experience can be
considered.

 Good English written and verbal communication skills.

 Able to understand P&I ds . Able to understand the General layout and isometrics.

 Computer literate, MS office - excel , Word.

Job description:

 Preventive maintenance machine activities for CCM, WTP, Ladle & Slide gate.

 Daily machineries and equipment breakdown maintenance.

 Project engineering support.

 Make recommendation on the possibility of machineries and equipment modification and


upgrading order to prevent man-hour losses due to prolong and frequent Machineries and
Equipment breakdown and hence assist maximize production output.

 Plan, implement, monitor and ensure that the Mechanical Preventive Maintenance Program is
carried in accordance to the approved schedule.

 Promote quality and safety awareness and responsibilities among members of the department.

 Ensure that the Company Quality Procedures and Work Instruction are implemented and
maintained in accordance with ISO 9001.

 Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

Job Description

 Design and develop highly-sophisticated communication products which include


infrastructure and subscribers for professional and mission critical markets

 Utilize modeling & simulation software to create and evaluate designs, including ABAQUS
for drop & impact simulation, CFDesign for thermal stress prediction, and MOLDFLOW
analysis for plastic molding flow analysis, prior to releasing the design for tooling

 Work with a team of highly-qualified engineers to generate innovative ideas for the overall
design concept for the mechanical system as well as the detailed design of the mechanical

Basic Requirements

 Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines with minimum


3 years’ (for Senior Engineer)/8 years’ (for Senior Staff Engineer) working experience or
equivalent. Advanced degrees with MSc/M.Eng or PhD specializing in areas relevant to
simulation-driven product design will be an added advantage

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design systems according to the customer specifications and GUTOR processes and
standards.

• Conduct technical studies and review together with Project Manager/Project Engineer
in order to make sure that all client specifications are strictly met.

• Produce required design documents for customer's approval, including schematic


drawings, technical datasheets, design calculations and others.

• Responsible for all design related activities to the project, including preparation of bill or
material (BOM), production documents, test documents and others.

• Liaise with Project Manager/Project Engineer for on time engineering mile stones
according the project schedule

• Preparation of drawings & responsible for correctness of drawings

• Provide inputs for manual preparation & responsible for correctness of manuals

• Handle multiple projects in parallel

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

EDUCATION—MINIMUM REQUIRED LEVEL:

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent (Master /


Bachelor)

EXPERIENCE—REQUIRED:
• 2 – 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design within the oil &
gas, power or petrochemical section would be an added advantage.
