EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:

Engr. Lazaro being a dean of the College of Engineering is now facing a very serious problem as
the number of engineering faculty becomes insufficient with the growing number of the students. Also
keeping the faculty members satisfied with their job is another matter.

CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM:

Engr. Lazaro first concern is she needs to fill the slots left by five faculty member whore singed.
Albeit, only ten applicants came up, most of them are fresh college graduate without engineering
experience. The second is the rapid increase of students in college. The last is two of the senior
members of the college resigned due to the offer of the other company.

OBJECTIVE OF THE CASE:

 She must know what’s the classifications would be the basis of hiring the additional
faculty members considering that all applicants have no teaching experience.
 Knowing how the existing faculty members can be motivated in doing their teaching
profession.
